The Healthy Fries: Oven-baked Haricots Verts Fries

Everyone love French fries 🍟 or anything that is fried to golden brown, but we all know it can be quite greasy (and fattening too!)

So how about an alternative that will save you tons of calories? Oven-baked Haricots Verts Fries! (This is the perfect way to sneak veggies into your kid’s meals!)

 1 pack Haricots Verts
 1 cup Bread Crumbs
 ½ cup Parmesan Cheese (grated)
 ¼ tsp Garlic Powder
 ¼ tsp Paprika
 1 pinch Salt and pepper
 1 Egg

Preheat the oven to 200 °C.

In a large bowl, combine bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, paprika and garlic powder; season with salt and pepper, to taste. Dip the green beans into beaten eggs, then dredge in bread crumbs mixture, pressing to coat.

Place the beans in a single layer on a baking rack (so both sides crisp up easily). Bake for 10 – 12 mins, or until golden and crisp. Serve immediately.
